Abstract
Kessler, E., and Wolloch, Y.: Granulomatous mastitis: A lesion clinically simulating carcinoma. Am. J. Clin. Pathol. 58: 642–646, 1972. Five cases of mastitis characterized by granulomas and abscess formation are presented. Clinically the patients were all suspected of having malignant tumors. This type of lesion appears to represent a well defined entity, granulomatous mastitis, which differs from the various other types of mastitis previously described.
