Paul G. Harris is the Chair Professor of Global and Environmental Studies at Hong Kong Institute of Education with a long career of published articles, grant-funding, service on the editorial boards of numerous journals, and cross-disciplinary research. On this last matter, the title and content of his latest work, an edited collection of previously published essays, demonstrates such: Ethics, Environmental Justice and Climate Change. Each of these subjects is cumbersome enough, but Harris weaves each topic into an accessible text that, despite its scope and breadth, maintains a commitment to each discretely and synergistically. In an interview with the author, Harris said, ‘I think we have experienced a sort of genesis of scholarship on climate ethics and justice. That lasted for a period of 25 years. The ideas and associated articles and other literature that arose during that period has informed policymaking at all levels, and continues to do so.’
