Objective: The goal of this project is to develop and validate a test that jointly measures episodic memory and performance validity. We have initiated development of an episodic memory test, the Levels of Processing Memory Test (LPMT), that is self-validating without the use of any additional procedures that require more assessment time. Method: Participants, n = 90, were undergraduate students and community dwelling older adults recruited from the student body at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and an existing research registry, respectively.
