Objective: The Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC) is often administered to children with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Learning Disorders (LD) in clinical evaluations. Little information is available regarding the comparability of WISC profiles in children with ADHD and LD who complete the English and Spanish versions of the test. The current study examined this issue by comparing WISC-IV profiles of children diagnosed with ADHD and LD who were administered either the Spanish or English version of the WISC-IV. Method: Participants included 413 children with ADHD only (English, n = 130; Spanish, n = 116) and ADHD with one or more comorbid LD (English, n = 122; Spanish, n = 45).
