Objective: Investigation of the factorial relationships among factorial components of visual memory and visual-spatial perception with measures of verbal and nonverbal intelligence. Method: A principal component analysis was computed with factorial component measures of the Benton Visual Retention Test (BVRT items 1-4; items 6-10), Judgment of Line Orientation (JLO items 1-10; items 21-30), age and educational level. Factor scales for the resulting components were computed and refactored with the four factorial component dimensions of the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-III (WAIS-III). Results: BVRT items 6-10, JLO items 21-30 and age formed one orthogonal component (Dimension 1).
