Abstract

Aceria lithocarpi, A. neosymphoricarpi, Eriophyes chamaebatiariae, E. peraphylli, all new species, and a variant of Aceria mackiei (Keifer) were found west of the Rocky Mountains and are described and illustrated. Both sexes of a species considered to be E. linnotus (Nalepa), collected from black birch, Betula occidentalis Hook., are described.
