COVER: From "Wild Fulvous Fruit Bats (Rousettus leschenaulti) Exhibit Human-Like Menstrual Cycle" by Xiaoping Zhang, Cheng Zhu, Haiyan Lin, Qing Yang, Qizhi Ou, Yuchun Li, Zhong Chen, Paul Racey, Shuyi Zhang, and Hongmei Wang. Biol Reprod 2007; 77:358-364. Published online ahead of print 9 May 2007; DOI 10.1095/biolreprod.106.058958. The picture shows a female wild fulvous bat exhibiting menstrual bleeding. All the mature females of this colony which are found in southern China exhibited menstrual bleeding on the same day, suggesting reproductive synchrony of this species.
