Abstract
Parties bound by an arbitration clause or agreement which provides for disputes to be arbitrated under the are required by to provide a formal notice of arbitration to initiate the proceedings. This chapter addresses the following topics: explicitly states this notice requirement, while establishes the date of receipt of notice as the official date for commencement of the proceedings; details the information which must be included in the notice of arbitration; gives claimants the option of accelerating the proceedings by providing additional information.
