Focus on cardiovascular protection

Cardioprotection from ischemia-reperfusion injury | Communication and cell-cell interactions | Shared and distinct pathways in heart and vessels

To mark the 2016 Frontiers in Cardiovascular Biology (FCVB) meeting taking place July 8-10 in Florence, Italy, Cardiovascular Research has compiled a selection of recently published papers illustrating advances in cardiovascular protection, a topic that will be prominent at meeting. These papers not only cover different strategies for the protection of the heart, but also illustrate potential pathways to protect the vasculature.

The artices are freely accessible to read until the 15th October 2016.
