Abstract
The People's Fadai Guerrillas of Iran emerged as the most radical wing of dissident student movement of the 1960s. This movement had strong ties to the leftist cultural circles. Discourses that are created around an event elevate the event to the status of a myth, and as such, any study such as this needs a theory of event and myth. And that is the achievement of the artists and writers who were tired of censorship and dictatorship in Iran. by creating lasting tropes and symbols, these cultural workers elevated the guerrillas to the status of immortal freedom fighters. The cultural realm became a battle ground of freedom expression and state censorship.
