Early childhood English language education must surely be the most rapidly growing sector of the English teaching industry worldwide, so this volume is a welcome addition to the existing literature on the subject. Necessarily, no single account can do justice to the scale, scope, and complexity of this phenomenon, so the current title will profit from being read alongside Rixon’s survey (2013).
