The GSA Journals began the Multiparental Populations series in 2014 to collect data and methods and to stimulate discussion in the community. With this collection, we hope to foster a cross-disciplinary flow of information and to provide a rich resource of experimental and methodological data to the community. The landmark GENETICS paper by Meuwissen et al., in 2001 launched an entire field.
