Human Molecular Genetics, 2011, 20(14), 2823-2833. doi: 10.1093/hmg/ddr193 The Authors would like to apologize for an error in reported concentrations of cytokines used for islet apoptosis studies in the above paper. The concentrations were stated as 2 ng/ml IFN-γ, IL-1β, and TNF-1α; the correct concentrations are 2 ng/ml IL-1β, 28 ng/ml TNF-1α, and 833 ng/ml IFN-γ. This has now been corrected in the online version of the manuscript.
