Reproducibility in Management Mathematics Research

The importance of reproducible research has long been recognised in many scientific fields. However, concerns have been repeatedly expressed about the lack of research that is fully reproducible and this is also true for the field of Management Mathematics.

In response to these concerns, Professor John Boylan (who serves at the Editorial Board of the IMA Journal of Management Mathematics) worked with the Editors to develop a set of guidelines on reproducibility for the journal.

These are contained in the editorial of vol. 27, issue 2 where prospective authors may find the conditions that need to be met for a publication to be recognised as 'reproducible' (by the award of an 'R' diamond-mark).

The IMA Journal of Management Mathematics wishes to encourage the publication of reproducible research and we invite authors to consider this opportunity.
