From 2015 to 2017, 56% of submissions to JAE received a decision within 30 days, and 74% within 60 days of submission. The average time to first decision for decisions made in 2017 is 52 days.
Over the same period, 76% of initial submissions were rejected without being sent for review. Of the submissions sent for review, 29% were accepted for publication after revision.
