2016 Jackson Prize Winner
The editor of the Journal of the History of Medicine and Allied Sciences is pleased to announce the winner of the twelfth annual Stanley Jackson award for the best paper in the journal appearing in the preceding four years. The prize committee chose: Andrew T. Simpson, "Transporting Lazarus: Physicians, the State, and the Creation of the Modern Paramedic and Ambulance, 1955–73" (68:2, April 2013).
