Summary
Inoculation of bovine entcrovirus-1 into mice carrying either Ehrlich ascites tumor or Sarcoma-1 resulted in a rapid regression of the tumor without any ill effect on the host. Bovine enterovirus-1 replicates inefficiently in the tumor cells as measured by viral RNA production, though destruction of the tumor cells is rapid.
