Summary
Golden hamsters with Fortner's melanotic melanoma #1 were divided into groups which separately received normal saline, BCG, and Corynebacterium granulosum. After palpable tumor development, hamsters given intralesional injections of C. granulosum showed regression of their primary tumors and did not develop pulmonary metastases.
