Summary
The biologic alkylating agentTrenimon (2,3,5-trisethylenimino-1,4-benzoquinone) bound readily to partially reduced proteins which included immunoglobulins. The complex retained antibody activity, was an active alkylating agent, and possessed immunologically specific cytotoxicity. These results indicate that it may be possible to prepare conjugates of Trenimon with protein carriers targeted for specific cells.
