Abstract

The author regrets that in her letter, “Models That Predict the Risk of Developing Breast Cancer” (J Natl Cancer Inst 82:1853-1854, 1990), line 2 of Table 1 was incorrect In the analysis for this table, the number of individuals without breast cancer was 342, of those, 37% had first-degree bilaterally affected relatives, and 62% had relatives with onset prior to age 50 years. The significance levels are correct as they appear in the letter, as are the interpretations.
