Introduction/Aim

Ejaculatory disorders are a male sexual dysfunction with high prevalence and many possible etiologies. Aim of this study was to compare premature ejaculation subgroup (PE) with other ejaculatory disorders, grouped as “Diminished ejaculatory disorders” or (DED).

Materials and methods

A descriptive study of 2120 patients, with ejaculatory disorders (EjD) for 22 years (Jun 1994 to May 2016), in four centers of sexual medicine at Medellin - Colombia. Premature Ejaculation subgroup (PE) was divided in lifelong (primary) and acquired (secondary); DED subgroup included: Decrease volume or force, delayed ejaculation, anejaculation, anorgasmic ejaculation and painful ejaculation. Study was conducted in compliance with ethical universal principles.

Results

2120 patients; subgroup with premature ejaculation (PE) was the largest with 1631 (77 %) patients, of which 967 (59%) were PE lifelong and 664 (40%) were PE acquired. DED subgroup were 489 patients (33%) of which had delayed ejaculation or anejaculation 203 (41.5%), decrease volume or force 81 (16.5%), painful ejaculation 30 (6%) and anorgasmic ejaculation 90 (18%).
