Abstract

Results of self-consistent field calculations with exchange for the ground state (3 s ) 2 (3 p ) and the first excited state (3 s ) (3 p ) 2 of Fe +13 are presented. The differences between energy levels of the terms are given, including the separation due to spin-orbit interaction. Integrals are given for use in the calculation of transition probabilities for lines of importance in the solar corona.
