Abstract
An exceptional combination of an intracranial convexity and two thoracic spinal meningiomas in a 17-year-old girl is reported. The small meningioma in the left central parasagittal region was removed. One year later, paraplegia rapidly developed. Two meningiomas (one of them ossified) about 2 cm in size were removed from the midthoracic level of the spinal cord. The distance between the two spinal tumors was about 2 cm. One and one-half years after surgery the patient is well. The problem of multicentricity of meningiomas is discussed.
