This “atlas” has undergone a major revision and expansion in the fourth edition. I use quotations because this book differs considerably from a typical atlas of human neuroanatomy. The text is divided into four main sections: 1) organization of the nervous system; 2) functional neuroanatomy of the major sensory and motor pathways; 3) blood vessels of the brain and spinal cord, and 4) atlas of the brain and spinal cord. The first three sections are predominately sets of well-illustrated drawings, each with a page or two of text. All major sensory and motor pathways are summarized in this combined graphic and textual format.
