Starting to use a new tool or resource can be confusing even for the most experienced, tech-savvy librarian. Our Customer Training & Implementation team offers live demonstrations of Oxford University Press (OUP) resources. Join a session to pick up tips, ask questions, and share ideas with other attendees.
What should I expect in a training session, and why should I attend?
OUP trainers introduce resources by using clear on-screen examples. Results have shown a clear rise in resource usage as a result of librarian training. During a session, you’re encouraged to ask questions and interact with other participants. All sessions are relaxed and conversational, so you can participate as much or as little as you want.
Our demos are simple to use, free of charge, and open to everyone. Users can participate in online, interactive sessions by using a computer with a microphone (no video); you can use a telephone if your computer is not equipped with a microphone.
