Abstract
What are the main determinants of public attitudes toward the Supreme Court? Do they stem from the fact that one's political party controls the White House? The authors find the answers from Gallup surveys, from questions asked by the Michigan and Berkeley Survey Research Centers, and from a comprehensive study by the Wisconsin Survey Research Laboratory in 1966.
