Progress of Theoretical and Experimental Physics (PTEP) is the successor of Progress of Theoretical Physics, which was founded by Hideki Yukawa in 1946 and over the years has published many important articles mainly in theoretical physics, including several papers that have led to the Nobel prize in physics.
