Editorial Board

In Memoriam

It is with great sadness that the physics community and the PTEP editorial board learned of the death of Professor Yoichiro Nambu recently. Professor Nambu is a legendary figure in particle physics, receiving numerous awards, including the Nobel prize in 2008, and is well-known for his contributions to spontaneous symmetry breaking, QCD, string theory, and more. Professor Nambu leaves a lasting scientific legacy. We are deeply grateful for Professor Nambu's valuable service given to PTEP as one of the advisory members from its inception, and will greatly miss his warm personality.

On behalf of Editorial Board of PTEP,
Norisuke Sakai, Editor-in-Chief
