Abstract
The elementary particle treatment of the process µ-12 C →νµ12 B is re-examined. Specifically, we check the basic assumption that the axial and weak-magnetism nuclear form factors scale in the same manner. The relevance of neutrino reactions in a model-independent test of CVC for finite momentum transfer is also discussed.
