Abstract
There have been reported several versions of the G-matrix interactions, which are used in the calculation of low energy hadron scattering with nucleus. Much success is reported with these interactions, but in some cases we find difficulty in getting the knowledge of nuclei due to the ambiguities of these interactions, which are found in the central-odd channel. We study therefore the questions around their central-odd interactions for the (p, p′) and (p, n) reactions, and clarify the similarity and difference between them. We find that the improvement of the effective interactions should not be achieved by simply decreasing the odd force strength due to the well established one pion exchange interaction.
