This book is the third volume of the five-volume Sofuto Rō Kenkyū Sōsho (Soft Law Research Series), the results of the University of Tokyo 21st Century Center of Excellence (COE) Program. In addition to the Introduction, most of the 12 articles that comprise this volume were written by Professors Nakazato Minoru, Shiraishi Takashi and Masui Yoshihiro of the University of Tokyo Graduate Schools for Law and Politics and by young researchers under their supervision.
