Summary

    Five cases of tropical or nutritional macrocytic anaemia, including a case in an infant of 8 months, are described.

    Blood examinations, including estimations of cell size, at intervals of a week, showed the return of the blood picture to normal under treatment.

  • 3.

    The presence of target cells in four of the cases is reported.
